It is without a doubt, the best motion picture of all time and if had been released now instead of 1994 I reckon it could have beaten Avatar and The hurt locker at the Oscars.

As a lover of film, I find it hard to remember my feelings regarding most of the films I ever seen. Not so with this film. This is your classic, what's this mum you've got from the video shop, never heard of it, can't be arsed to watch it.' Ring any bells? I first saw this film about six years ago, and I remember as it neared the final scene on the beach, the tears in my eyes. It is simply the most moving film I have ever seen, I think because this is the end we all wanted, but never thought possible. Both Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman are brilliant, I think Freeman has the best voice-over tone around. How this film did not win any Oscars is beyond me, it will always be one of my all-time favourite films, just brilliant. The line, Get busy living, or get busy dying, sums up the whole film, and it is a message for all; never give up hope for a redemption, and friendship will conquer all troubles.
Anybody who hasn't seen this film, just go and see it for God's sake. Anybody who doesn't like it - you don't really like films do you? A tad long is THE only minor criticism, but I think the length adds drama. You have to sit down and watch this all the way through not in bits for the full effect.
Quite simply the best film I have ever, and will ever see. 10/10.
